Parent Teacher Conferences Wednesday, February 15 from 4:00 To 7:00
*Storm days from November 29th and 30th will be made up on April 13th 2017 and May 25th 2017
Congratulations to the following students: Autumn Paluck, Nicole Sadowsky, Carter Blotske, Jeremy Parker, Jersey Theurer and Sydney Dolyniuk!
The judges have chosen Diatrack as a Best in State winner for North Dakota in the Verizon Innovative Learning app challenge!
There were more than 1,800 app concept submissions in this highly competitive contest. Those students should be proud of their hard work and innovation!
As a Best in State team, they won:
- A $5,000 award for Dickinson High TSA
- A Verizon Ellipsis 10 tablet and case for each team member
- A T-shirt, cinch backpack, bumper sticker, and certificate for each team member
- A recognition plaque and banner for Dickinson High TSA
- Listing on the Verizon Innovative Learning app challenge website
- Eligibility to compete for the titles of Best in Region, Best in Nation, and Fan Favorite
Each year, the public chooses the winner of the app challenge Fan Favorite award.
The team that gets the most votes for its app concept will win the same prizes as Best in Nation winners: a $15,000 award for their school or out-of-school program; training from MIT experts to develop their concept into a working app; and an all-expenses-paid trip to the TSA Conference in June.
Help us pick this year’s winner! Watch the video and then text the code of your favorite app concept to 22333. You can go to the following link to watch the video: https://appchallenge.tsaweb.org/vote . You will then need to select our state-North Dakota and then you can watch the video on the app that our Dickinson High School TSA students created.
Voting runs Jan. 16–Feb. 14. Text code: DIATRACK to 22333 and help Dickinson High School win the Fan Favorite award.
Your vote counts—but choose carefully, because you can vote only once! (Standard texting rates apply.) International voting is not available at this time.
